The Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest welcomes “The Wine Diva” Christine Ansbacher

Not everyone attending the Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest is a wine expert. Even after 5 years as Vendor Coordinator of the Fest, I still have a lot to learn about buying, storing and serving wine and every year I learn something new. That is one of the real benefits to attending a Fest like ours, where you get to talk to the people who grow the grapes and make the wine and are very passionate about their product. In addition to the wineries, we always offer educational seminars from recognized wine experts. This year, we are happy to welcome Christine Ansbacher, “The Wine Diva” who will be presenting “Instant Wine Savvy: 10 Tips to Save You Time, Money & Aggravation” on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Currently on tour to promote her book “Secrets From The Wine Diva: Tips on Buying, Ordering & Enjoying Wine”, Christine’s goal is to help wine drinkers get more pleasure from their glass and not have to empty out their wallets. She has been a featured speaker at top wine festivals across the country and tips from her book form the basis of her wine tastings for corporations, cultural institutions and non-profits across the US. I really appreciate Christine’s down-to-earth approach to wine for real people. Her book is full of really useful information for the consumer and doesn’t get bogged down in the more esoteric aspects of wine and wine making.
