Chef Vincent TropepeLearn the cooking secrets of your favorite regional chefs. Attend one or all of the fabulous free cooking demonstrations throughout the Fest weekend. Our guest chefs own some of the Hudson Valley's finest restaurants, have cooking shows on the Food Network, PBS and have published cookbooks.

For 2010, we are proud to announce our special guests Chef Vincent Tropepe and Chef Maria Liberati.

Chef Tropepe is a returning favorite to the Wine & Food Fest and a recent cooking book author. Chef Tropepe's book STUFFED!, all about different stuffed foods, is scheduled to be released in early summer of 2010. Chef Tropepe is a highly sought after restaurant consultant, pastry chef, business owner and now cookbook author. He brings his passion for food to the 9th Annual Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest for 2 demonstrations each day.

Chef Maria LiberatiChef Maria Liberati has been called the “Italian Martha Stewart” by Celebrity Society Magazine and is also a well known cookbook author. Her first book The Basic Art of Italian Cooking is a best selller all over the world and her demonstrations at the Fest will feature recipes from her latest book The Basic Art of Italian Cooking: Holidays and Special Occasions-Second Edition. Today, Maria is considered one of the foremost experts on Italian cuisine and culture. She has hosted and delighted audiences from International Wine Festivals, cooking events for both consumers and trade and conventions all over the US to Rome, Abruzzo, and Florence, Italy. She is consistently endorsed by some of the world’s leading chefs for her savvy and simplistic, yet healthy approach to cooking and great food.  She continues to host culinary tours in Italy and is director of a cooking school in Umbria, Italy.
