Looking Ahead to the 13th Annual Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest

2014 will be the 13th year for the Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest that originated at the Greig Farm in Red Hook, New York in 2001.  Now taking place at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, what began as a small wine tasting event, featuring 22 wineries from across New York and a handful of specialty food vendors has grown to host more than 75 wineries, 5 distilleries and even craft breweries from around New York as well as more than 100 gourmet specialty food, art, craft and home goods vendors.  In 2007 the event added a feature area called the Restaurant Showcase that allows guests to sample specialty dishes from some of the region’s best restaurants.  2013 brought, even more, food with the addition of a Food Truck Corral, highlighted by gourmet food trucks from around the area.

Looking ahead to the 2014 Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest, scheduled to take place September 6th & 7th at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, New York, the event is expected to host even more wine, beer and food, highlighting the bounty of New York.  We plan to expand on the Food Truck Corral and are currently seeking unique food trucks to provide delicious meals for our guests.  The Craft Beer Pavilion was a big hit last year and we hope to expand the New York beer offerings as well.  We are currently accepting applications from all vendors.

Advance tickets to the Fest will go on sale on June 1.  There are Group Rates available for groups of 10 or more and bus tours.  You can follow us on Facebook to keep up with all the latest events and guest appearances by celebrity chefs.
